MICHAEL NOLTEMEYER is the founder, president, and editor-in-chief of North Star Editing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University, where he spent four years working in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Then he spent a year in a dual-degree M.D.-Ph.D. program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine before leaving to focus on writing and teaching instead. In 2015, he completed a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the University of New Mexico, where he served as an award-winning teacher of composition, creative writing, technical writing, and literature. He now teaches writing at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
